Registration is now open for Tulane Takeover WAVE Weekend. This event is open to all students wishing to meet  Alumni/Parents Traveling to New Orleans for WAVE Weekend. This is a networking event with the goal of developing a professional network of Tulane individuals which may lead to future opportunities. Please register in Handshake HERE.

1. Event is in Kendall Cram in the  LBC
2. Student Check In starts at 2:15 PM. Please REGISTER BEFORE the event. If you register less than 24 hours before the event, you will have to handwrite your nametag. Tell your friends, not too late for them to attend.
3. Event starts at 2:30 PM and ends at 4:30 PM. You can arrive late or leave early.

5. The full list of professionals attending is listed from the button above. We have over 150 Alumni/Parents scheduled to attend. You can also see on that link what industries they represent.
6. This is not a career fair. They are not offering jobs. Please don’t ask about jobs or internships without learning more about the individual. This is a networking event. The professionals in the room are networking contacts who may be able to assist after the event is over.
7. Remember to thank the professionals you meet in person as well as via LinkedIn which gives you an opportunity to inquire about scheduling a phone call later. Most students don’t follow-up so make sure you do, it may have long-term results.
8. Business casual attire is allowed – Please dress a little nicer than your normally would on a Friday.
9. You can bring a few resumes with you but don’t be upset if they don’t ask for one or agree to take one with them. Remember, not a job fair.

Alumni/Parents/Friends of Tulane

We are so delighted that you can join us. It has been quite a while since we held a networking event in collaboration to WAVE Weekend and we are thrilled that you will give time to speak to students. You may or may not know we’ve held these networking events all over the country and are glad to reconnect with Tulanians coming home to New Orleans. At this event you will have an opportunity to network with current students who are seeking career guidance or you may even find your next intern of new hire.
